The countdown is officially on – only one month to go until the Nordic Nuclear Forum 2026 (NNF26) brings together the nuclear community in Stockholm on 26–27 May 2026. With an exciting program, high-level speakers, and unparalleled networking opportunities ahead, now is the perfect time to start preparing your visit.
Discover the Venue: House of People (Folkets Hus)
NNF26 will take place in central Stockholm, making it easily accessible for both international and local participants. This year’s forum will be hosted at the iconic House of People (Folkets Hus), a historic congress venue in the heart of Stockholm.
Originally opened in 1960 the venue has long been a hub for major international gatherings, including the 1972 UN Environment Conference. Recently renovated and reopened in 2025, it now combines state-of-the-art technology with its preserved modernist architecture, offering a unique and inspiring setting for NNF26. Its central location also means you’ll be surrounded by hotels, restaurants, and city attractions – all within walking distance.
Reaching the venue is simple:
- From Stockholm Central Station: A short, approx. 6 minutes walk, brings you directly to the venue.
- From Stockholm Arlanda Airport: The quickest option is to take a direct train (such as the Arlanda Express or commuter rail) to Stockholm Central Station, followed by a short walk to the venue. Alternatively, a taxi ride from the airport takes around 40 minutes, depending on traffic.
- By car: Note that there is no on-site parking, so city-center parking facilities should be used instead. Read more here.
