This year, we’re introducing NNF Deep Dive Sessions, which will take place before and after the main conference. They are side events of the Nordic Nuclear Forum with more focused themes and target groups, for example, authorities and regulatories, utilities, supply chain, waste management organizations, or research institutions. These are organized in cooperation with the NNF partners, and participation is limited to the conference attendees unless otherwise stated.
We will release the programs to each session during the spring. First we would like to announce the program for Deep Dive Session 4: Group Excursion Track to Olkiluoto NPP. Nordic Nuclear Forum delegates have the unique opportunity to visit Olkiluoto NPP and Posiva’s final disposal of spent fuel repository ONKALO®, which is 430 meters below ground level. Places are limited to 40 and filled on a first come first served basis. Due to the required security clearance, each registrants must provide personal information by Thursday 2 May 2024. Excursion will take place on 23 May 2024, the day after the NNF conference.

This deep dive session is available only for NNF24 delegates as a combo tickets with an extra fee of 150 eur + VAT 24%, which includes lunch and transportation from and back to Helsinki city center. NOTE: Tickets to Olkiluoto NPP will not be on sale separately! The combo tickets will be on sale on Valentine’s Day Wednesday 14 February.
