Organized in cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)

Did you know that the Nordic Nuclear Forum took place for the first time in 2019 in Helsinki? The event is a combined effort of organizations involved in the nuclear business in Finland.

Next month, we will be gathering online for the second Nordic Nuclear Forum 2021 – Suppliers Edition. Our original intention was of course to meet in Helsinki, adding some Nordic summer breeze and “nightless night” feel to our intensive program packed with excellent presentations and business meetings. Hopefully we’ll be able to welcome you to Helsinki next summer. But for the presentations and business meetings, you don’t need to wait any longer as the Nordic Nuclear Forum 2021 Suppliers Edition Online can offer them to you anywhere in the world over the internet. We’re all excited to have a wider participation enabled by the technology today. The event platform will be launched on May 25, so make sure to get on board in time!

We strongly believe in the power of cooperation, and we’re very happy to have a number of partners and sponsors who trust us and believe in the Nordic Nuclear Forum! We’re also thankful to be able to continue our cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Dr. Mikhail Chudakov, Head of the Department of Nuclear Energy at the IAEA will be presenting during the opening session on 8 June 2021. In addition, you are all invited to participate in the excellent Nuclear Supply Chain webinar series organized by the IAEA. The topic of the webinar on 9 June 2021 will be “Use of Commercial Grade Items – When and how?” Attendees can easily access the webinar from the schedule section of the event platform.

P.S. Actually there’s another interesting webinar organized on 8 June 2021 Factoring climate resilience into the design of clean power infrastructures. The results from a Nordic study “Impacts of climate change on nuclear power” made by Energiforsk from Sweden will be presented in the webinar.

Nordic Nuclear Forum is proudly organized by FinNuclear in cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency.
