Roman Romanowski is currently serving as the Vice President of Energy Systems at Westinghouse Electric Company. In this role, he is at the forefront of driving business development across the EMEA region. Romanowski’s expertise is centered on advancing
innovative technologies such as Westinghouse’s AP1000® reactors, AP300TM small modular reactors and non-nuclear long duration energy storage (LDES).

Before his current position at Westinghouse, Romanowski held several key roles in major energy corporations. He served as Senior Sales Manager at GE Power, and also held a key role in GE Renewable Energy’s Offshore Wind division. In these capacities, he was instrumental in forging strategic partnerships and spearheading business growth through the development of innovative commercial strategies, financing solutions, and capacity agreements. His tenure also involved the pursuit of a robust localization strategy, showcasing adaptability and strategic vision.

Romanowski’s extensive experience extends to his time at Alstom Power and ABB, where he effectively led sales and commercial initiatives in Poland, across Europe and expanded company’s reach across various continents. His expertise ranges from the marketing of standard product solutions to tailor-made, complex EPC projects in energy industry.

With over 20 years of experience in the energy sector, Romanowski has developed a deep knowledge in business management, strategic thinking, and project management. His skill set includes an exceptional ability to navigate complex market dynamics and lead teams towards achieving significant milestones in the energy domain.

Romanowski holds a degree in Economics and Management from Nicolai Copernicus University in Torun, Poland and a Diploma from the postgraduate studies at the Warsaw School of Economics, Poland.
