Marie-Agnès Berche has held management, development and project management positions in various EDF Group businesses: transport infrastructure development engineering, development of major international generation infrastructure projects, business development in Europe, and management of concession contracts in the distribution sector. Deputy Managing Director of EDF EN Services, EDF subsidiary for operation and maintenance services for EDF renewable assets in Europe from 2013 to 2017, she participates in the elaboration of the subsidiary’s strategy and development, in the governance of country branches and supervises support functions. She will lead, in residence in London, a specific mission of the subsidiary’s development in the United Kingdom.

In April 2017, she was called to join EDF’s strategy directorate where she took responsibility for steering the strategic process for defining the strategic orientations of the group’s departments and subsidiaries. With her experience and know-how acquired in the field of business development, she was called to join the International New Nuclear development directorate of the EDF
Group.

Appointed Director of Business Development in October 2022, she is responsible, with her team, to promote EDF’s value proposition and that of the French nuclear industry in key countries embarking new nuclear programs. She completes this activity by monitoring relations with all international organizations in the field of new nuclear energy, where she coordinates the representation and initiatives of the EDF Group.

She is also vice-president of the export and international commission of the GIFEN trade union association of the French nuclear industry. Berche is a graduate of the ENSTA engineering school.
