Kalle Heinola
Kalle Heinola, PhD, Doc., joined IAEA in 2018. He is a project officer and technical expert working in IAEA’s nuclear fusion programme. His career with fusion covers over 20 years with nearly 100 authored scientific publications. Prior joining the IAEA, he worked several years at world’s largest fusion device, the Joint European Torus (JET) located south of Oxford, United Kingdom. Kalle has been appointed as the Sub-project Leader and Board Member for EUROfusion work packages for JET. He was awarded the Academy Research Fellowship of Academy of Finland in 2017.
