Anne Vasara has served as the Ambassador for Circular Economy and Green Transition since 2022. Since joining the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1989, she has served in various positions including diplomatic service posts in the Embassies of Finland in Morocco and Washington. She has been appointed to serve as Head of Mission at Finland’s Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, starting on 1 September 2024.

She has with more than 30 years of experience in different diplomatic functions in Europe, the United States, Africa, OECD, Council of Europe, WTO and the European Union.
