For the last two years, Andreas Roos has been heading decommissioning at OKG as the Program Director Nuclear D&D of OKG Unit 1&2 and brings his expertise and perspective to the NNF on the future of the decommissioning efforts in Sweden.

As a fresh mechanical engineer, Andreas Roos started his career in 1997 as a maintenance engineer at one of OKG’s three Swedish nuclear power plants. Except for a 4-year session working with reliability in the transportation industry, Mr. Roos has remained within the nuclear industry for his whole career and held various positions such as maintenance engineer, project manager, mechanical engineering manager and engineering director before his current task.
