Joachim Specht is presently the CEO of nuclear energy company Fennovoima. He has previously worked at PreussenElektra, where he served as Executive Vice President and Head of Nuclear Technology and Consulting.

Joachim holds a Master of Metallurgy and Materials Science and he has nearly 30 years of experience in the nuclear power industry. He has worked in various positions at PreussenElektra, Areva, Framatome and Siemens / KWU. Specht has strong expertise in the field ranging from new plant projects, operation and maintenance activities as well as related services, engineering and consulting.
