Eero Heikkinen is currently working as Principal Consultant in AFRY Finland Oy. He has over 30 years of experience in site characterization and site description for spent nuclear fuel disposal in crystalline bedrock terrain. His field of expertise is applied geophysics. Tasks he has been involved have ranged from design, supervision and quality control of field surveys, to methodology development, data processing, and delivery of measurement data for geometric  and numerical simulation models parallel with geological, hydrogeological and engineering related information. He has Master’s degree in geophysics from Oulu University.
